Architecture awards won for the renovation of the Dominican Monastery
– Plečnik Medal 2014 (Ljubljana, Slovenia)

Plečnik recognitions were awarded to three projects completed in the preceding five years, selected among over forty nominations. The 2014 Plečnik Award was conferred on the project to design the Situla apartment and business complex in Ljubljana, while Plečnik Medals were given to the Brnik air traffic control center, and the project of renovating the Dominican Monastery in Ptuj.

– Architizer A+ Award (New York, USA)

The renovation project was the absolute winner in the Architecture +Preservation category, receiving jury and popular vote awards.
This award is conferred by an online portal, which records some 1.5 million visits every month, and around 80 million visits and 200,000 votes when selecting the winners. Last year, over 1500 projects from more than 100 countries were entered in the competition.

– AIT Award (Frankfurt, Germany)
The renovation of the Dominican Monastery was shortlisted in the Public building/Education category among 573 entries from 31 countries, and received an honorable mention.
