The Dominican Monastery in Ptuj is a magical setting for weddings. You can select from a number of different venues that will lend sophistication to this special event. The old summer refectory is a Baroque hall with beautiful plasterwork and murals on the ceiling. The inner courtyard, surrounded by the cloister with tall Gothic windows with lavish tracery, is a synonym for peace. The south courtyard overlooks the Drava River with Haloze in the background, and offers beautiful views of the Borl castle and thee three peaks of Donačka Gora to the east, and the pilgrimage church on Ptujska Gora to the west.
